Because every time I'm in one of these planes, I wonder if this is not the same wallpaper we used to have in the yellow bathroom in Montpelier. Or if not there, somewhere. I've sat forlornly a-squeezin' and staring at this pattern somewhere. Repeatedly. Besides the plane, I mean.

Love the Goodwill

OK, ducked into the Goodwill not far from me looking for a cheap new tie.  Great place for ties, generally; they don't cost much, are generally in decent shape, there's usually at least one expensive tie hidden in the pile, plus the type who shop there, by-and-large, are not tie-wearing sorts so they're not so picked over.

Didn't find a tie, but my heart was gladdened by Spock and Shrek, both solemnly awaiting purchase.  I think Spock has a chance...but I don't know about Shrek.  he appears to be made of dyed, coagulated dung.

Once again, we wake up to a winter wonderland.

First day off in a while...
