Was going to visit the Gettysburg battlefield today

...had a show there last night, but God scotched my plans. So, got to drive home in the rain for two hours instead.

While the University of Richmond has one of the most singularly beautiful campuses I've ever seen...

...the artist's entrance to the Modlin Center resembles nothing so much as a torture chamber...hmmmm...

DC makes a fortune the last few years since they have installed insanely contradictory and confusing signs. My picture of the street sign that further obfuscated the issue didn't come out, but you get the point.

Opening Day at the Ballpark!

Cee and I got to see the Nationals win their opening day for only the second time in the park's history! Plus the stadium was crammed with fans of our team, not the other team for a change. I tell ya, things are coming around.
By the way, the second picture is of the latest giant food item available for your agonized consumption: the Strassburger - 8 pounds of regret on a toasted logo-ed bun.
